In 1857, one man, Jeremiah Lamphier, inspired by Holy Spirit, led a prayer initiative in New York City.

Soon thousands of people in New York were praying at the noon hour for each other.

A powerful revival swept through New York and then the Northeast, and then the rest of America.

It didn’t take long for this revival to move from nation to nation and then across the world.

Revival throughout our land today could mean another GREAT AWAKENING!

For Father God’s word says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (KJV)

In other words, only IF we humble ourselves and pray, THEN He will forgive our sins and heal our land.

Why not start now to humble ourselves and call on His name, seek His face for all those in your community who need His special touch?

Why should you be praying for members of your community, name by name?

Well, do you think Father God will bless you if you take action and pray for people you don’t even know personally in your neighborhood?

To ask Him to send His Spirt to them, draw them closer to Him and bring them into His Kingdom?

Do you really know who prayed for you when you were once lost?

Was it your mother or father, your sister, your brother, or perhaps someone you didn’t even know?

Perhaps it was your next door neighbor or someone on the other side of the country who prayed for you.

And what would Father God say about YOU if you hadn’t spoken so much as one peep to Him about the people who lived right next door?
